Hi, I’m Jared. I’m a designer driven by curiosity and a love of solving problems through hands-on experimentation and lateral thinking.
As a kid, I always wanted to be an inventor. I spent hours taking things apart to understand how they worked and how they were assembled. That curiosity carried me through college and eventually to Seattle, where I spent nearly a decade designing systems and structures for workboats.
That same curiosity ultimately led me to industrial design. In 2021, I began pursuing an MS in Industrial Design at ArtCenter College of Design (ACCD). My time at ACCD has reignited my passion for physical problem-solving and reinforced the value of thinking laterally through making.
Grounded in my love of camping and my connection to nature, I focus on developing products that minimize environmental impact. I firmly believe it’s possible to live comfortably while designing and building more sustainably.
